1 month Slimming Journey with Weighted Hoop

A month ago, I picked up my weighted hoop and decided to give myself a fresh start. To my surprise (and delight), I dropped a few kilograms! 🎉 It’s not rocket science — it really comes down to mindset, eating right, and moving your body.
Truth be told, my weight had been creeping up, and losing it hasn’t been easy — especially as I get older. If you can relate, let me encourage you: your first step doesn’t have to be big. Even losing a few grams matters. What counts most is deciding in your heart and mind that you’re ready. Once you’re determined, you’ll find the strength to keep going.
The toughest part? Those first two to three weeks. My weight didn’t budge at all. But I noticed something else: my body felt different. My muscles were firmer, my energy was better, and one day I realized my pants slid up more easily — thighs, butt, tummy. That was proof my body was changing from the inside out.
Today, I’m hovering around 49.5kg–50.5kg after an initial 4kg loss. I admit, I relaxed on my diet (a little too much!) and my weight plateaued. But this is all part of the journey. My goal is to reach 45kg — and I’ll keep hooping, eating better, and sharing every step along the way.
I hope my simple video below encourages you. Like me, you may still be a work in progress — but progress is progress, no matter how small. One day, I’ll be celebrating 47kg… and then 45kg.
Happy hooping!
