My Defining Moment...What's yours?

Here’s a candid photo of me during Chinese New Year in 2019.
When I first saw it, I froze. That was the moment I realized how much I had “grown sideways” after having my 4th child. I didn’t just see extra weight — I felt the discomfort in my body and in my health.
From then on, I decided to take charge. I started scrutinizing what I ate, and I committed to moving my body more. It wasn’t smooth sailing. Some days I felt strong, some days I wanted to quit. The hardest part was not seeing quick results despite giving my all.
But that photo kept reminding me — I didn’t gain it all in two months, it built up over years. And slowly, with consistency, I began to see change. That was my turning point.
Keep hooping and keep eating healthy — you’re already on the right track. Progress may feel slow, but every step brings you closer to lasting, happy results. Remember, “slowly but surely” wins the race.
Here I am at 48kg — yay! 🎉
I’ll be sharing more about how hula hooping played a big part in my slimming journey on my blog.
Stay tuned!
